The annual Winter Festival at San Lorenzo Valley Middle School raised $1,600 for Valley Churches United Missions on Friday, Dec. 18.
On the last day of school before the two-week holiday break, students from the schools’ Associated Student Body organized games, food and entertainment for their classmates.
In all, the event raised $3,200, with half going to students who ran the booths and the other half going to VCUM’s holiday work in the San Lorenzo Valley.
