Jennifer Campbell Flippen

Jennifer Campbell Flippen of Royal Oaks died Saturday, Jan. 23, at the age of 54.
Born on Sept. 13, 1955, in Palo Alto to Jeanne Frost and Standish Mitchell, Mrs. Flippen owned Woodland Financial Wellness in Soquel and was a longtime member of the Scotts Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Family members said she was a singer, confidante, farmer, gardener, cowgirl and champion helper to anyone who asked. She was known for her Scottish scones.
Mrs. Flippen is survived by her husband of 36 years, Lucien Travis Flippen of Royal Oaks, and their four children, Rafael Archuleta-Flippen of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Laura Flippen of Oakland, Sarah Watson of Eureka and Jesse Flippen of Scotts Valley; mother, Jeanne Frost; two brothers, Courtney Mitchell and Paul Mras; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Laura.
Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Twin Lakes Church, 2701 Cabrillo College Drive, in Aptos.
