The Brook Lomond Iris Farm will open its gardens to the public for two days next week, May 15 and 16. The certified organic nursery has iris rhizomes for show and for sale in more than
40 shapes, colors and scents.
Irises are in full bloom in May, and organizers encourage visitors to take a camera. Visitors can also learn from the gardeners about how to compost.
The gardens will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 10310 California Drive in Ben Lomond.
