A survey asking how the San Lorenzo Valley Water District should share information will soon be in the mail to the district’s customers.
“This short survey is designed to help us supply the kinds of information our customers want in ways they wish to receive it,” district manager Jim Mueller said in a prepared statement.
The survey will be mailed beginning Friday, Sept. 10, to all district customers along with their regular water bills. It is also available online at www.slvwd.com.
The survey, which asks customers what information they are interested in and how they prefer to receive it, was designed by district staff and approved by the board of directors Aug. 19.
District officials hope for a high response rate. As part of the push, the district’s field service vehicles now carry a “friendly frog” logo that asks customers to take the survey.
The results of the survey will appear on the district’s website, www.slvwd.com, likely before Thanksgiving, said environmental analyst Betsy Herbert.
“Completing the survey will help the district supply and deliver safe and reliable water to all our customers in the most efficient way possible,” Herbert said.
