Art and Wine festival launches in Felton
Oak Tree Ristorante, 5447 Highway 9, in Felton, will host the premiere of Arte Vino on April 16 and 17 at the Oak Tree in Felton.
The festival, which will run from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, will showcase Santa Cruz County artists and wines from local wineries, including Thomas Fogerty, Hallcrest Vineyards and Ridge Winery.
Barbecued chicken, Italian sausage, pancetta-wrapped hot dogs, corn on the cob and the restaurant’s full Italian menu will be available.
Jewelry, paintings, pottery, glass sculptures, stained glass and other handcrafted goods from many local artists and an art raffle will benefit Mountain Community Resources.

Cheap scoops at Baskin-Robbins
The Baskin-Robbins, 245 Mount Hermon Road, in Scotts Valley, will celebrate its fifth annual 31 Cent Scoop Night from 5 to 10 p.m. April 27.
During the nationwide event, 2½-ounce scoops will be sold for 31 cents. Baskin-Robbins also will make a $100,000 donation to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. During last year’s scoop night, more than 5 million scoops were doled out nationwide.
