Marian Myers Hargrove Pliska Oct. 18, 1912 — July 2, 2011

Services are planned in October for Marian Myers Hargrove Pliska, who died July 2 in Felton, where she lived with her daughter. She was 98.
Mrs. Pliska was born in Midas, Nev., and taught in San Mateo schools for 30 years. She was an avid reader and gardener.
She is survived by her daughter, Natasha Andersen, and her husband, David, of Felton; son, Nicholas Severais, and his wife, Lori, of San Mateo; and seven grandchildren.
Santa Cruz Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, in Santa Cruz, will handle arrangements.
