Aug. 10
• Someone tried to steal items out of a man’s car but was scared away before the theft was completed at 1:30 a.m. on the 7300 block of Highway 9 in Felton.
Aug. 9
• A man was hit several times by another man before being knocked to the ground unconscious at 12:40 a.m. on the 600 block of Worth Lane in Scotts Valley. The assailant left on foot before deputies arrived. The man had a 1-inch cut on the back of his head and swelling on his face. He received stitches to close the wound.
• A cell phone was found at 8:30 a.m. on the 9400 block of Brookside Avenue in Ben Lomond.
• A man tried to evade deputies during a traffic stop at 11:51 p.m. on the corner of Granite Creek and Burlwood Drive in Scotts Valley. Once caught, the man was found to be under the influence of narcotics.

• Someone cut a barbed-wire fence and stole things from a man’s property on the 16000 block of Highway 236 in Boulder Creek at midnight.
Aug. 7
• A bicycle was found at the end of Conference Drive in Felton at 1:29 p.m.
Aug. 5
• A vacation cabin on Woodwardia Avenue in Felton was burglarized at midnight. There were no signs of forced entry into the cabin.
• A window of the market on the 9400 block of Mill Street in Ben Lomond was reported to be broken at 5 p.m.
Aug. 2
• Two young people were cited for removing two stop signs from the ground and putting them in the roadway at 2:24 a.m. on the corner of Glen Arbor Road and Larita Drive in Ben Lomond.
July 28
• A woman said her wedding ring, worth $700, was taken from her purse, which was locked in her room on Conference Drive in Mt. Hermon, at 8:30 p.m.

Aug. 8
• Three young people were caught prowling around in a 37-year-old man’s yard at 12:17 a.m. on the 100 block of North Navarra Drive. They were overheard planning to break into the man’s vehicles and were arrested and booked into juvenile hall.
• A 53-year-old man who caused a disturbance at a business on the 100 block of Janis Way was arrested at 10:49 a.m. because he was too intoxicated to care for himself.
Aug. 7
• A 40-year-old man was seen staggering at 5:30 p.m. down La Madrona Drive. The man was found in some bushes nearby, too intoxicated to care for himself. He was booked into county jail.
• Between 1 and 3 pounds of dried medicinal marijuana was stolen from a 27-year-old man’s house on the 100 block of Locke Way at noon. Someone appeared to have forced entry into the house.
• A 71-year-old man driving at 9:23 p.m. without his headlights on was stopped on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road. The man was found to be intoxicated and was booked into county jail.
Aug. 6
• Between July 6 and Aug. 6, someone entered a 78-year-old man’s locked motor home and stole a roof vent on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road.
• A young person was arrested and taken to juvenile hall at 6:34 p.m. after a fight between siblings resulted in one sibling pushing another up against a wall and throwing a cell phone at her.
Aug. 5
• During an investigation into domestic violence at 9:27 a.m., a 40-year-old woman refused an officer’s orders and tried to hit an officer with her fist when the officer tried to put her in handcuffs. The woman continued to be combative with the officers, who used a stun gun to subdue her.
• Someone spray-painted graffiti on several buildings and walls at the high school on the 500 block of Glenwood Drive. The damage is estimated to cost $800.
Aug. 3
• A young man was found asleep in front of a campfire on the 400 block of Kings Village Road at 7:01 a.m. The young man was cited for trespassing and being a minor in possession of tobacco products before being released to his mother.
