Valley Churches United Missions recently announced that the organization’s year-round Bucks For Hunger Drive fundraiser will partner with the Feinstein Foundation during March and April.
According to Valley Churches, the Rhode Island-based Feinstein foundation will offer the Ben Lomond-based charity a grant matching the total value of the cash and food donations the organization receives during those two months.
With the motto “hunger doesn’t take a holiday,” VCUM’s Bucks For Hunger Drive is one of the organization’s major sources of funding.
Money raised will help pay for local disaster relief, rent and mortgage assistance, health care assistance, educational supplies and gas vouchers.
