Today, Monday, Oct. 21 is the final day to register for the Nov. 5 special election.
Scotts Valley residents will vote on Measure U, an 8-year 1/2 cent sales tax proposal that would raise approximately $1.2 million per year for the City of Scotts Valley general fund, to help pay for a deficit imposed on the city partially due to the closure of redevelopment agencies last year.
