Caltrans announced today that one-way traffic control with flaggers will be in place on Highway 236 in Boulder Creek two miles north of Highway 9 to Jameson Creek Road early next week.
Up to 30 minute delays can be expected from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, May 18 and Tuesday, May 19.
Crews are relocating concrete barriers on the roadway and AT&T is relocating lines.
Work is continuing on Highway 236 to repair a major slip-out that closed the northbound lane in early March.
To avoid potential delays, drivers may reach upper Highway 236 by taking an alternate route.
Drivers may take Alba Road in Ben Lomond to Empire Grade and then to Jameson Creek Road which connects to Highway 236 above the slipout.
