More than 50 ceramic bowls were trimmed, bisque-fired and glazed at the Mountain Art Center during Ben Lomond’s annual Ceram-A-Rama event in September.
The bowls were donated to Loaves and Fishes Watsonville to raise money to feed homeless and hungry people in the community.
Another Loaves and Fishes fundraiser, Empty Bowls, will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Pajaro dunes.
For an eighth year, the raw clay for the event was donated by Phoenix Ceramics owner Kevin Wahl. This year, 500 pounds of clay was used during the event.
