• During a probation search on the 8400 block of Hihn Road in Ben Lomond, a man showed signs of being under the influence of a stimulant and was arrested at 10:24 a.m.
• A man stole 100 gallons of gasoline, worth $300, at 10 p.m. on the 6200 block of Graham Hill Road in Felton.

• A man tried to run from police after his car was stopped, but he was detained and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail at noon on Fernwood Drive in Felton.
• A man on parole was found to have syringes in his pocket and methamphetamine in his possession, and he tested positive for drugs at 1:06 p.m. on the corner of East Grove Street and Lorenzo Avenue in Boulder Creek.

• A man on probation was caught growing pot in his room without a medical marijuana card or a doctor’s permission at 12:25 a.m. on the 6900 block of Highway 9 in Felton. He was arrested and booked into county jail.

• Someone opened an account with Georgia Power Co. using a Scotts Valley woman’s information for services totaling $478.72, as reported at 7:54 p.m. on the 300 block of Tabor Drive.
Nov. 18
• Someone stole two credit cards from a 73-year-old man’s wallet and made several purchases, according to reports at 2 p.m. on the 100 block of Enterprise Way.
• When police responded to reports of a possibly suicidal man, he was found to have a warrant out for his arrest. The man was issued a notice to appear in court and was released with a court date at 6:44 p.m. on the 6000 block of Scotts Valley Drive.

• A married couple was in the midst of heated verbal argument in the eastern part of town when the husband pushed his wife at 8:52 p.m. When she tried to call police, he disconnected the phone line, but she was able to reach the department on her cell phone. The husband left the house.

• Someone stole three bottles of alcohol, valued at $157.29, from Nob Hill Foods, 222 Mount Hermon Road, at 7:57 p.m.
