Dr. Amy Solomon of Balance Health of Ben Lomond will offer a three-hour workshop for smokers, titled Tobacco Workshop: Quit in time for the New Year.
The innovative class is designed to help people learn about available treatments for nicotine withdrawal, identify triggers and teach relapse prevention strategies.
“The purpose of the workshop is to help you create a specific plan and to set a ‘quit date’ with built-in support and accountability,” Solomon said.
The workshop will be from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 12 at 231-A, Main St., in Ben Lomond. The cost is $50.
