From April 22-May 3, Bay Area Pizza Week puts the spotlight on the craft, creativity and sheer pleasure of great pizza across the region.
Building on the success of North Bay Pizza Week, Santa Cruz Pizza Week and Silicon Valley Pizza Week in 2025, the inaugural Bay Area Pizza Week expands the concept regionwide, inspired by pizza-centric celebrations across the U.S. and Canada.
Participating restaurants—anywhere pizza or flatbreads are made—will serve special pies and slices at special prices, giving Bay Area and Central Coast pizza lovers a chance to sample the range of artistry that goes into a truly great pizza. Last year 128 restaurants took part in the events, and participation is expected to grow in 2026.
Restaurants can sign up via the online registration form at PizzaWeek.Paperform.co, and pizza lovers will find a complete list of participating restaurants on BayAreaPizzaWeek.com plus their specialty pies. Participants also will be featured in a special April 22 edition of Good Times and the April 24 editions of Press Banner and The Pajaronian.
Bay Area Pizza Week is supported by a dedicated mobile app, available now for Android and Apple devices. Diners can use the app to discover pizza spots, earn prizes for ordering food and drinks and share their experiences on social media—while restaurants benefit from increased exposure across the entire Bay Area.
“Pizza Week was such a spectacular success that it bears repeating,” said Weeklys Media Group CEO Dan Pulcrano, a third-generation descendant of Naples, Italy, home to the world’s first pizzeria in 1830. “We’re hoping this will continue to grow as a Bay Area tradition.”
From classic margheritas to inventive, only-in-California combinations, Bay Area Pizza Week showcases the diversity and innovation that make the region a culinary destination—with plenty of options for all tastes and preferences. Sponsors include the Good Times, Press Banner, The Pajaronian and Metro Silicon Valley, along with radio stations The Beach (101.7), The Hippo (104.3), BOB (95.5), KPIG (107.5) and KWAV (96.9).
