Loggers threw axes for accuracy and manned chainsaws for speed as Boulder Creek Hardware staged its annual Lumberjack Days on Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3, to celebrate the town’s logging history.
Store owner Doug Conrad partnered with chainsaw manufacturer Stihl, Joe’s Bar, Old Mountain Inn, Richard’s Tree Service and Christianson Tree Service to put on the event.
“The crowd was at capacity, the barbecue delicious and the modified chainsaws extra loud,” Conrad reported.
Proceeds will help the San Lorenzo Valley Museum and San Lorenzo Valley Chamber of Commerce.
