Cassidy Insurance Agency is celebrating the 25th work anniversary of Kami Cady, director of personal lines.
Cady’s dedication, leadership and commitment to customer service have made a positive impact on the agency and the Santa Cruz County community.
Cady joined Cassidy Insurance Agency in 2001 and has spent the past 25 years building strong relationships with clients while developing deep expertise in personal insurance, including home, auto and umbrella coverage. She is known for her patience, professionalism and ability to help customers navigate the often complex world of insurance with clarity and confidence.
When Cady started work at the agency, she worked closely with the then-owners of the agency, Larry and Ava Cassidy. Larry Cassidy helped shape Cady’s understanding of the importance of personal service and careful attention to coverage details. He said it simply, “Read the Policy.” Those lessons became the foundation of her approach to client care and leadership.
Today, as director of personal lines, Cady oversees the agency’s team of licensed personal lines insurance professionals. Over the past decade, she has played a key role in mentoring and training new agents, passing along hard-earned knowledge and wisdom she has gained through years of serving families and individuals.
Cady has become a trusted resource and expert speaker for Santa Cruz County community groups, homeowner associations, real estate professionals and Bay Area media outlets. She has helped educate others about the growing complexities of homeowners’ insurance in California, particularly as residents navigate the challenges posed by wildfires, natural disasters and changes within the insurance market.
