A man trespassing at the lodge on Highway 9 in Brookdale was found with drug paraphernalia at 1:38 a.m.
July 17
A woman received several obscene and harassing phone calls from a man at 3:40 p.m. on the 1700 block of Bridge Creek Road in Scotts Valley. The man used different phone numbers and whispered.
A woman allegedly battered another woman after the victim refused to give her a ride at 4:56 p.m. on Quail Hollow Road in Felton. The woman tried to take the car, but the victim was able to push her away and drive to the fire station. The woman was later found at a bar in Ben Lomond and arrested.
DVDs, a laptop, computer monitor, Xbox and CDs were taken from a man’s home at 9:30 a.m. on the 100 block of Green Valley Road in Scotts Valley.

Cocaine was found in a young person’s bedroom at 4:04 p.m. on Eggleson Lane in Felton.
July 14
Pedal cars were taken from the front yard of a woman’s home on the 500 block of Acorn Drive in Boulder Creek at 11:15 p.m.
July 11
A computer was taken from inside a woman’s vehicle after the culprit opened a locked door at 10:45 a.m. on the 7900 block of Highway 9 in Ben Lomond.

Someone used an object to break a plastic sign at midnighton the 100 block of Culligan Court in Boulder Creek.

Two leather saddlebags and personal items worth $1,170 were stolen from a motorcycle parked on the 5000 block of Scotts Valley Drive at 3:10 p.m.
July 18
Jewelry and a man’s watch were reported taken from a home on the 400 block of Whispering Pines Drive at 5:30 p.m. after a neighbor had watched a couple’s home. The neighbor had two female friends over — all the subjects denied any involvement.
July 16
After speeding and running a stoplight, a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:08 a.m. on the 100 block of Bean Creek Road.
A woman reported that her 24-year-old boyfriend had choked her at 11 a.m. He was arrested and taken to jail.
A 61-year-old woman was caught walking out of a store on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road with a nicotine patch kit she had not paid for at 3:13 p.m. Store security had video surveillance tape of the woman stealing the same item three previous times.

Graffiti, including the words “Jesus Saves,” was visibly painted on a cargo trailer and a storage building next to a business on the 5000 block of Scotts Valley Drive
July 13
A 22-year-old woman was stopped for a non-functioning headlight and then failed a series of field sobriety tests before being arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:06 a.m. on the corner of Willis Road and Scotts Valley Drive.
