An 11-year-old Girl Scout from San Ramon who went missing from Cutter Scout reservation in Boulder Creek on Saturday, May 23, was found unharmed at 10 a.m. the next day after spending the night in the forest.
May 22
A man was arrested for military desertion from the Marine Corps during a traffic stop at 4:20 a.m. on the corner of Laurel Drive and Valley Drive in Felton.
Gas was taken at 1 p.m. from a vehicle parked in a man’s driveway on the 200 block of Sunnycroft Road in Ben Lomond.
Things were stolen at 9 p.m. from an unlocked vehicle on the 400 block of More Drive in Boulder Creek.
May 19
A man was seen taking things from shelves in the market on the 9400 block of Mill Street in Ben Lomond at 12:40 p.m. and concealing them under his clothing. The man was stopped outside the market and then arrested on a warrant.
May 18
The front tire of a woman’s vehicle was slashed at 2 p.m. on the 300 block of Brimblecom Avenue in Boulder Creek. The woman thought a man who she was trying to evict slashed the tire.
May 17
Gas was siphoned from a woman’s vehicle at 5 p.m. on the 200 block of McKee Road in Felton.
A man’s shed and mobile home on the 1000 block of Panther Ridge Road in Boulder Creek were vandalized at 2:13 p.m.
Things were taken from an unlocked vehicle at 7 p.m. on the 300 block of River Drive in Boulder Creek.

May 23
A boy was arrested at 4:02 p.m. on the 100 block of Bean Creek Road on suspicion of driving under the influence after failing field sobriety tests. The boy was stopped by an officer for playing his music too loud.
May 21
A 19-year-old man who was not wearing his helmet at the skate park on the 300 block of Kings Village Road at 1:06 p.m. was arrested for having two outstanding warrants and was taken to jail.
May 20
Someone stole a bicycle from the front of the department store on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road at 7:45 p.m.
May 19
A Boulder Creek man who shot himself in the head during a therapy session at 2:30 p.m. in central Scotts Valley was taken to a hospital in San Jose and died later in the day.
May 18
A Laundromat on the 100 block of Whispering Pines Drive was vandalized with graffiti at 9:36 a.m.
A 26-year-old woman put a necklace in her back pocket and took it from a store on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road without paying for it at 12:38 p.m. The woman was caught after an ensuing traffic stop.
May 15
A petty cash box containing about $1,300 was stolen from a business on the 100 block of Janis Way at 5 p.m.
