Law enforcement officials arrested a 52-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman at a business on the 5300 block of Scotts Valley Drive on suspicion of drug and weapons charges.
According to a news release, Scotts Valley resident Lonni Locatelli, 52, and Ben Lomond resident Lauren Lotz, 23, were arrested on Saturday, April 19, when members of the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office and Scotts Valley Police Department served a search warrant at an auto repair shop owned by Locatelli, following various nuisance related complaints about the property.
Locatelli was found at the scene and arrested for possession of methamphetamine, a syringe of heroin, as well as for being a felon in possession of a stun gun and ammunition. Lotz was also present and was arrested for being in possession of controlled substances.
The business also was found to be operating unlawfully, according to the report. A complaint is being followed through to address this.
