ECLC puts kids first

Although it is the end of the school year and our twins are moving on to kindergarten, we know that some of you are thinking of next school year and will search all summer to find just the right school for your child as we did last summer. We thought we’d take a quick minute to encourage you to put on ECLC (Early Childhood Learning Center at Bethany University in Scotts Valley) on the top of your list.
We had never heard of ECLC before our search for a local preschool/preK for our children. When we found it, we thought it was the best kept secret in Scotts Valley. It is our intent that it no longer be kept a hidden treasure. 
When we were looking for a school, first on our list was an atmosphere of kindness from adults and students. We found it at ECLC. We were also looking for a balance between play time and skill time, where skills are experienced in a variety of ways to best prepare them for kindergarten. We found it at ECLC.
We also needed long, flexible hours. We found that at ECLC, too — they are open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in a beautiful setting with wonderful play equipment inside and out.
ECLC provided our children with an exceptional year. Each day we have been astounded by the caring and high quality staff. The director and the teachers are absolutely exceptional.
