A juvenile was killed after a crash involving a car versus a pedestrian. 
According to California Highway Patrol, at approximately 2:38 p.m. on Monday, a 44-year-old male from Ben Lomond driving a 2018 Toyota 4Runner, was involved in a traffic collision with a juvenile on a stand-up style Razor scooter within a driveway on Newell Creek Road. 
Emergency Medical Services arrived and determined the juvenile to be deceased at the scene due to injuries sustained from the collision, according to CHP.  
The cause of the collision is being investigated. The investigation is still active and it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a contributing factor.
