SLV Softball Rummage Sale next Saturday

Over the past five years SLV Softball has received donations and coordinated fundraising opportunities to help cover tournament fees, to purchase uniforms, softballs and other equipment, and to cover other significant expenses such as umpires and facility maintenance. Through these generous contributions we’ve been able to upgrade our practice facility and build lockers for our student-athletes to store their equipment.
The softball facility at SLV High School hosts more than 120 games and approximately 500 practices a year for SLV High School Softball, SLV Little League Baseball, Santa Cruz Pony Baseball and SLV Girls’ Softball. To keep up with this heavy use, we’ve upgraded the sprinkler system, rebuilt four dugouts, installed a new scoreboard and recently painted the score tower and much more.
The SLV High School Girls’ Softball program is grateful for all the support from our sponsors and the community throughout the years. Because of this support, dozens of student-athletes have the opportunity to play softball and compete in the Santa Cruz area and beyond each spring. “Thank you,” from the SLV Softball family of players, coaches, parents, and alumni.
New to the event this year is the availability of spaces for community members to rent for $15. Sellers can reserve their space by calling 313-2255. Donations are accepted the morning of the event beginning at 7a.m. An event flier is available at: http://www.slvsoftball.com/community-rummage-sale/
Come on out to SLV High School on April 23 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. to score some great finds and support our student-athletes! For information call 313-2255 or email [email protected].
