Disc drive manufacturer Seagate Technology is moving most of its Scotts Valley operations to Cupertino.

Former Boulder Creek resident Mia Michele McCarter died in her sleep Tuesday, June 22, while visiting with her children and grandson in Brookdale. She was 56.
