Janitor attacked in Boulder Creek park

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two young men suspected of attacking a Boulder Creek parks employee while he worked in Junction Park at 10:15 a.m. Monday, March 7.

Driver hits San Lorenzo Valley Water District Building

An elderly woman passed out and lost control of her vehicle. The car hit a trailer that was parked in front of the Boulder Creek Brewery, went up on the side walk and hit the SLVWD office building at 13060 Highway 9, Boulder Creek. The car was stopped by a no parking sign and an SLVWD truck.

Granite Construction this week began the long-awaited $758,000 facelift at the intersection of Mt. Hermon Road, Scotts Valley Drive and Whispering Pines Drive.

BMW veers off road

Scotts Valley firefighters helped a woman to safety after she crashed her BMW at Glenwood Drive by Walpole Lane. She appeared to be unharmed after going off the road on Monday, May 2.
