Scotts Valley hotel faces foreclosure
After it missed a payment of more than $1.2 million in July, lenders are preparing to put the Hilton Santa Cruz-Scotts Valley up for foreclosure auction this month.
Covered bridge roof to be replaced via federal grant
Felton’s most famous local landmark will soon receive a new hat. The Federal Highway Administration has granted Caltrans $248,238 to replace the entire roof of the 140-foot covered bridge that crosses the San Lorenzo River.
