No services will be held for longtime Ben Lomond resident Marvin Own Prior who died in Ben Lomond at age 87.
Mr. Prior was born in Oakland to Martin “Doc” and May Prior. Family said Mr. Prior was a man of many talents; having built several boats and his house in Ben Lomond which he occupied for the past 44 years. He loved all outdoor activities especially camping, fishing, hiking, hunting and golfing. He often boasted about his handicap of seven. He enjoyed life and finding humor in all situations. Family said he had an infectious laugh.
Mr. Prior was a Member of the Sons in Retirement and participating in luncheons, bowling and other related activities until deteriorating health prohibited these activities. 
He is survived by his wife Donna Jean Prior of Ben Lomond; daughters Karen Prior of Ben Lomond and Cynthia Susann Bullion and husband Andy of Truckee and their two sons; siblings Margaret Clark of Metclair, La., Leleand Prior of Union City, and Maureen Watson of San Lorenzo; 26 nieces and nephews and four pets.
He is preceded in death by brothers Arthur and Kenneth Prior and his parents.
