For 14 years I’ve lived on the other end of the bay, but have long admired the wonderful communities of Scotts Valley, Ben Lomond and Boulder Creek.  It’s sunnier up here and the people might be even friendlier. It reminds me a little bit of home. I am very happy to be joining this community as editor and general manager of the community’s newspaper.

Now that the dust has begun to settle in the wake of Peter Burke's departure from the Press-Banner, I felt that it was time to properly introduce myself to you, our readership.

I am writing in response to the letter supporting Jim Hart. I do not know Jim Hart, nor do I know Roger Wildey.
