San Lorenzo Valley Water District Proposes Rate Increase
The San Lorenzo Valley Water District announced it is notifying customers of a proposed Drought Recovery and Water Capital Surcharge to make up a drought-caused revenue shortfall that impacts capital improvement projects already underway.

It would have been great to remind drivers that since 2008 California has had a law requiring motorists to turn on their headlights on whenever windshield wipers are needed. There are far too many motorists that do not seem to be aware of this law, AND of the great advantage to all on the roads of the increased visibility that headlights offer. It is always best to make yourself as visible as possible to all who use our roadways. I wish everyone a safe and happy 2016.
