This hurts. It hurts to lose a marquee company, and it hurts to lose hundreds of employees in town every day. It is especially painful to lose a company that’s grown up with the city throughout its entire history. It’s like losing a member of the family.

SLV Little League to host first all-star tourney

Many of the top little leaguers in District 39 will make the trip to San Lorenzo Valley Little League field for the first time as the league hosts its first all-star tournament. The little league will host the Minors all-star tournament beginning Saturday, June 26, and it will through July 8.

Little League: SLV teams fall short of TOC titles

The San Lorenzo Valley Minors Cardinals were forced to take the long way through the Tournament of Champions when they lost their opener to Scotts Valley, 10-0. However, they rebounded with a win over Capitola-Soquel, 9-2.
