SANTA CRUZ—Lester Quinones finished with a game-high 30 points for the Santa Cruz Warriors in its 130-111 win over the Texas Legends at Kaiser Permanente Arena on Wednesday night. 

Quinones also had nine rebounds and five assists, while Golden State Warriors two-way forward Anthony Lamb secured a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. 

Forward Gui Santos added 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench for Santa Cruz (9-9), which improved to 4-1 in February.

Texas guard Taze Moore finished with a team-best 21 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists. Fellow teammate Grant Riller added 18 points and seven assists, and Yudai Baba notched 18 points and six rebounds.

The Warriors took an early 10-point lead but the Legends (6-12) closed the gap to just three points, 35-32, at the end of the first quarter. 

The second quarter was a back-and-forth battle that saw 11 lead changes and the score was 58-all with one minute remaining in the first half. 

Riller gave Texas a brief three-point lead after he was fouled on a layup and made the free throw attempt. Quinones hit a 3-pointer to tie it at 61-all going into halftime.

Santa Cruz extended their lead up to 23 points in the fourth quarter en route to a 130-111 victory in front of the home crowd.

The Warriors will host the Austin Spurs after the All-Star break on Feb. 22 at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive an Andrew Wiggins Posterized Bobblehead.
