Supplies ran dry at this year’s children’s craft party at the San Lorenzo Valley Museum. The museum is now seeking donations of Christmas decorations and gift wrap supplies.
Barbara Pesavento has volunteered with the museum for approximately four years and is responsible for spearheading this donation drive.
“What I am looking for are things that people are just going to throw away and I want to recycle them,” Pesavento explained, “Ribbon particularly, any ornaments, Christmas cards we can get … and the little kids make decorations and cards out of them.”
Christmas supplies can be dropped off at the San Lorenzo Valley Museum in Boulder Creek during open hours Wednesday through Saturday 12 to 4 p.m.  Supplies can also be submitted by calling 338-8382 and making an appointment to do so.
“It’s a blast, it’s an absolute blast,” Pesavento said. “I have mothers come up and tell me that kids look forward to it all year.”
