When Baldan Dashiev first stepped first foot on United States soil four years ago, he only knew a handful of English words.

When we think of winners in high school sports, we think of those athletes that overcome adversity and pull out a victory after falling down. On rare occasion an athlete will come along that goes undefeated.

 

The San Lorenzo Valley and Scotts Valley high school boy’s soccer teams are into their preseason schedules and will start league play in January. They have high hopes for the upcoming season.
