Spotlight: Huge book sale

Browse for new-to-you reading material while you help the libraries — including the Scotts Valley, Felton and Boulder Creek branches — in this age of severe budget cutbacks.
The best selection is from 5:50 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 29. It’s for members only, but you can join at the door. Cost is $1.50 per pound.
The sale will be open to the public Saturday, May 30, with free admission. Books are $1.50 per pound from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will be $5 a bag from 2 to 4 p.m. The time slot between 1 and 2 p.m. is reserved for schools and nonprofits.
The sale is as the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium, 307 Church St., in Santa Cruz.
