Letter: Historian needs Scotts Valley community’s help to document city’s past
Editor,
My name is Debbie Muth and I am writing an Arcadia Press Book on the history of Scotts Valley.
As part of this process, I am collecting Scotts Valley area photographs and documents relating to fossils, Native Americans, pioneer families, dairies, ranches, farms, Marion Hollins, the Polo Barn, Bethany Bible College/University, Tree Circus/Lost World, Santa’s Village, Scotts Valley Cavalcade, Skypark, the Barn, pony races, the Glenwood, school activities, PTA, church activities, Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts, 4-H, sports activities, et cetera.
While I am interested in special events, ordinary everyday activities and photographs of Scotts Valley from the 1940s to the present are also sought.
All photos used for the book will be credited and are for a one-time use. All profits from the book will benefit the Scotts Valley Historical Society.
Please email me at de*********@sb*******.net or call at 246-0710 to submit photos or for any questions.
