Saturday, May 23, dawned cool and misty, but the weather didn’t dampen attendees’ smiles at the 2026 Felton Remembers Parade in downtown Felton.

Highway 9 was lined with spectators who were treated to the sights and sounds of a hometown tradition, starting with the local Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops.

Notable entrants included San Lorenzo Valley Little League players, members of the SLV High School football and cheerleading teams, players from the Mountain Dream Girls Softball team, San Lorenzo Valley Museum, and a display of old-timey farm equipment from the Agricultural History Project.

Fifth District Supervisor Monica Martinez and Grand Marshal Mike Scarborough waved their way down the parade route, carving a path for the pièce de résistance: emergency vehicles from local fire departments, with horns honking and sirens blaring.

Felton Fire Protection District’s own Engine 2336 closed out the procession, leaving spectators anticipating the 2027 event.
