Letter: More details on local crime, please

EDITOR,
I enjoy reading this local paper, but would like to see a more full report on local crime dispatch. The crime blotter makes it sound like we only encounter theft, probation violations, and public intoxication in Felton. My husband recently took down an armed robber at a local convenience store and the police were called. I can’t find the incident in the crime blotter and when I think about it, I can’t remember ever reading more serious crimes being reported, such as armed robbery or sexual assault.
Please give us the truth. We can handle it and actually require it be safe in our community.
