Little Anna was 5 years old when her mother left her with a family in a small, rocky village in the hills of Konavle, Yugoslavia. Anna remembered having a doll sent to her by her mother from somewhere in America. She never heard from her mother again.

Spring has sprung, and along with it the arrival of new spring programs at Boulder Creek Recreation. The United States Youth Volleyball League is opening a season of volleyball this spring. All children between the ages of 7 and 15 are invited to enjoy instructional volleyball practices and games that focus on participation, sportsmanship, and fun.
