San Lorenzo Valley Museum will host its annual Fundraising Dinner and Auction on Aug. 8 at Scopazzi’s Restaurant and Lounge in Boulder Creek, with this year’s event marking the 50th anniversary of the San Lorenzo Valley Historical Society as a nonprofit organization.
The evening will feature live music by Patti Maxine, a silent and live auction, and a three-course dinner. Tony DeAngelis will serve as emcee, while former museum Executive Director Lynda Phillips will return as the live auctioneer.
Auction items include a stay at Chaminade Resort and Spa, a family camp weekend at YMCA Camp Campbell, Annieglass pieces, artwork by local artists, train rides and other experiences.
Proceeds will support the museum’s mission of preserving and sharing the history of the San Lorenzo Valley. Funds help keep museum admission and programs donation-based, support school field trips, sponsor local history lectures, bring traveling exhibitions to the museum and provide family activities.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with a no-host bar, live music and a silent auction, followed by dinner and the live auction at 7 p.m.
Tickets are available at slvmuseum.org.
