Aug. 12
Midnight: A man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of methamphetamine and possessing drug paraphernalia during a vehicle stop on the 6300 block of Highway 9 in Felton.
4:34 p.m.: Deputies arrested a man on suspicion of public drunkenness on the 13100 block of Central Avenue in Boulder Creek.
Aug. 10
Noon: Someone reported several belongings as missing following the burglary of a parked vehicle at 37 Conference Drive in Mount Hermon.
9:38 p.m.: A 32-year-old Boulder Creek man and a 33-year-old Santa Cruz man were arrested at the intersection of East Zayante and Zayante School roads in Felton when deputies stopped them on a motorcycle that had been reported stolen. The Boulder Creek man was arrested for stealing the motorcycle and the Santa Cruz man was arrested for driving without a license and under the influence of alcohol. Both men were also found to be in possession of other stolen items.
 
Aug. 9
1:36 p.m. A woman was arrested for four misdemeanor warrants when deputies caught her allegedly trespassing on the 400 block of High Street in Boulder Creek

Aug. 11
8:11 a.m.: An unlocked vehicle was reportedly burglarized on the Scotts Valley High School campus. Among the items reported missing were the faceplate of a Kenwood car stereo, a circular saw, two electric drills and a tool set containing sockets and wrenches.
6:45 p.m.: Jewelry valued at about $50,000 was reported stolen from a booth at the Scotts Valley Art & Wine Festival at Skypark.
 
Aug. 10
12:15 a.m.: Several items were reported stolen from inside an unlocked vehicle parked on Scotts Valley Drive.
7:29 a.m.: The front passenger window of a parked vehicle was smashed on Scotts Valley Drive. The vehicle owner guessed that it was an act of vandalism, as nothing was noticed to be missing, including the GPS device.
9:04 a.m.: A company truck was reported stolen from an engineering firm on Green Hills Road. The truck was described as a red-and-silver 1995 Ford F-150 extended cab. The theft, at about 3 a.m., was recorded by the company’s security cameras.
 
Aug. 8
12:13 a.m.: A teenager was cited when officers spotted him out past curfew, riding a bicycle without a helmet in the middle of Mount Hermon Road near the intersection with Christel Oaks Drive.
6:05 a.m.: A broken window and a missing cash register were reported at a business on the first block of Mount Hermon Road.
9:22 a.m.: A woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at a business on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road.
10:02 a.m.: A cellphone and an iPod were reportedly stolen during a vehicle burglary on La Cuesta Drive.
10:25 a.m.: A roll of quarters, a USB charger, and a faceplate for a ham radio were reported stolen from a vehicle parked outside a home on Whispering Pines Drive.
1:18 p.m.: Two suspected shoplifters were arrested at a business on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road where they had been stopped by loss-prevention employees.
3:35 p.m.: A man was arrested at bus station on Kings Village Road after he was reported to be drunk and to have smoked while riding a bus.
8:32 p.m.: A teenager who had allegedly been spotted shoplifting Aug. 7 at Nob Hill Foods, 222 Mount Hermon Road, returned to the store, was recognized and was arrested.
 
Aug. 7
7:33 p.m.: A stop sign was reported missing from the intersection of Whispering Pines Drive and Lundy Lane.
 
Aug. 6
6:21 p.m.: Police took a report of an incident at a gas station on Mount Hermon Road wherein an attendant claimed that a man took a swing at him when he refused to fill the man’s gas tank. The attendant also told police that the man grabbed a pen from his hand and threw it to the ground when the attendant tried to write down his license plate number.
