A memorial service will be held in August for former Felton resident Annette E. Rice who died in Santa Cruz. She was 87.
Mrs. Rice was born in Vermont and lived in Felton for more than a decade. Family members said she loved the ocean and loved to read.
She was preceded in death by husband Alden Rice. She is survived by her four sons Brian Rice of Felton; Bruce Rice of Maui, Hawaii; Brent Rice of Eagle Lake; and Jeffery Rice.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 16, 2013 at Santa Cruz Memorial Park, 1927 Ocean Street in Santa Cruz.
