The title of Thomas Wolfe’s posthumous novel, You Can’t Go Home Again, is often quoted as a standalone comment, without a context. One lesson in those five words is that when you take a fresh look at things you once knew, you will see them differently – and you should be careful not only about recognizing your new perspective, but also about how you communicate this new perspective.

Solution to Lompico Water District’s woes could be merger with SLVWD

As Supervisor of the 5th District, I am concerned with the health and welfare of all my constituents. Several years ago, when I learned of the ongoing water crisis in Lompico, I convened stakeholders to find the most viable solution. After much research, it was determined that consolidation of the Lompico Water District into the San Lorenzo Valley Water District is the best answer.

In an age where we take so many precautions to ensure our children’s’ safety from the dangers of the world at large, it’s appalling to see their very lives threatened daily and willfully at Brook Knoll Elementary school by parents themselves.
